Questions

Why it costs what it costs.

What counts as an automatic setup?

A domain your customer connects by approving the change at a provider that supports Domain Connect, so the records are written for them. It is charged when the domain first verifies.

What if my customer's provider does not support one click?

They get the exact records to add, we check them whenever they ask, and your product hears when they answer. That path is free, however many domains use it.

Why not charge per seat?

A seat count would charge for people who never touch DNS. The thing you are buying is a connected domain, so that is the unit.

Why not charge per API call?

Calls include polling and checks, and how often those happen is our design decision, not yours. You should not pay more because we check carefully.

Why is there no free plan?

A domain that connects costs us something to watch. Instead, nothing is charged until one does, and a setup your customer abandons costs you nothing.

Does it cover every project?

Billing belongs to your organisation rather than to one project, so every project in it is covered by the same account.
